UHF (Ultra High Frequency)
— The frequency range from 300 MHz to 3 GHz, used for television broadcasting, cellular communications, and radar.
Unilateral
— A device or network where the signal flows in only one direction, with no reverse transmission from output to input.
Upconverter
— A frequency conversion device that translates an IF signal to a higher RF frequency for transmission using a mixer and local oscillator.
