Q Factor (Quality Factor) — A dimensionless parameter describing the energy storage relative to energy dissipation in a resonant circuit. Higher Q means sharper resonance.

QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) — A modulation scheme that encodes data by varying both the amplitude and phase of a carrier signal in quadrature.

Quasi-Optical — Techniques for handling electromagnetic waves at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths using optical methods like lenses and beam splitters.
